MS100 storage sled support up to 10x 3.5” 6TB fix (non-swappable) hard drives to provide the highest storage density in 1/2U architecture, is ideal for Hadoop and distributed software application.
Similarity to blade server
Futhermore, with both 40Gbps-ready (Network) and 12G-SAS-ready(storage) tray backplane design, that Rackgo M is aim to help increasing the speed and efficiency of data transfers across sleds servers and networks. Singular shared compute/storage tray backplane design and pre-configured rear cables functions the same as blade midplane that help reduce service complexity, allow enterprise business runs mission critical application.
