 Can QSM gather CPU, DIMM inventory data from managed devices?
A

QSM SW can query from BMC FW about CPU, DIMM data, then, display information on its Web UI or export them to an excel file.

But in order to gather “newest”/”correct” CPU, DIMM data, user must follow steps below correctly:

  1. Target server system must power on and make sure BIOS FW already passed POST (Power-On Self-Test) stage.
  2. User creates and runs discovery task on QSM Web UI to find the target server system, then, add it in hierarchy (make it be managed by QSM).
  3. Wait for QSM Web UI refreshing, the newest/correct CPU, DIMM data will be shown.
