 Why QSM can’t display the Event Log of managed Server/BMC devices?

Reason might be followings:

  1. The UDP port number 162 (SNMP Trap) of OS which QSM is installed on is not opened or is occupied by other programs (not QSM).
  2. The IP address for alert (PET) destination in Platform Event Filter (PEF) setting of the managed BMC is not the IP address of the OS which QSM is installed on. (QSM will auto configure PEF to be correct while it discovers the BMC, but maybe other programs change the setting of PEF later)
