QCT To Introduce Telco Cloud Solutions at 2017 MWC Shanghai
Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT), a global leader in hyperscale cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure, is proud to introduce its Telco cloud computing solutions at this years’ Mobile World Congress Shanghai (MWC Shanghai) from June 28th to July 1st at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). More than 650 exhibitors will demonstrate the latest industry technologies and trends, and more than 65,000 visitors are expected to join. QCT is thrilled to introduce a lineup of products and solutions with the theme of “Paving the Way for Next Generation Telco Clouds”
QCT will demonstrate a collaborative effort with Affirmed Networks and CORD (Central Office Re-architected as a Datacenter) on a project that combines NFV (Network Functions Virtualization) and SDN (Software Defined Networking), and to take advantage of the elasticity of cloud to build an open source and fully-integrated solution architecture.
Not only can these technologies help address the growing capacity of mobile traffic from 5G networks and edge computing, but also reduce the burdens of capital expenditures and operating expenses faced by service providers. Such solution reduces service providers’ reliance on expensive proprietary hardware platforms. QCT stands at the forefront of these technologies with its long history and expertise in pairing identical multi-tenant hardware components with infrastructure software to minimize the burdens of IT managers.
Join us at booth #W4 E70 in the Industry Halls section of the exhibition at the SNIEC, as QCT will introduce the following Telco cloud related products and solutions:
Providing cross-cloud offerings for Telcos with efficient, innovative, scalable, and easily deployable hardware to meet the diverse demands of Telco data centers.
Catered for cloud service providers and enterprises with robust, resilient and highly available solution in an OpenStack environment.
QCT’s Software Defined Storage (SDS) solutions deliver seamless interoperability, capital and operational efficiency, and powerful performance. QCT offers a family of servers for different types of scale-out storage clusters, optimized with Red Hat Ceph Storage for diverse workloads and budgets.
QCT will showcase a leading edge Intel RSD solution, Open Rack V2, designed on the principles of Open Compute Project.
“We are driving the development of next-generation Telco network infrastructures, reshaping how companies build and deploy open systems to achieve measurable results faster with less risks.” said Mike Yang, President of QCT. “Our goal is to introduce simple, efficient and flexible technologies that are relevant to existing and future networks. By working in the open platform, we believe we can accelerate the pace of innovation in Telco market.”
