Thank you all for making Q.synergy 2018 a success!
This year we created a synergy of 5G, AI and Cloud, and shared the latest industry trend with our data center architects and operators, component suppliers, solution providers and system integrators. We hope you enjoyed the event and learned a lot about where the industry is headed. Here is a recap of the event to bring you back to that moment. As the event host, I can’t emphasize enough how important your participation and contribution is to QCT. Besides expressing my appreciation to each one of you, I would also like to solicit your frank suggestions on how to make the event a better one so our next Q.synergy will be a more meaningful and productive event for our guests.
Thank you again for your attendance.
Please feel free to contact QCT representativesIn October 2016, Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT) held the Silicon Valley’s first-ever Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) Conference. We brought together the leading IT hardware and software giants to showcase a full spectrum of HCI technologies and practices which were trailblazing the IT industry.
Last year, we renamed this event Q.synergy due to “synergy” being the force that drives and pushes QCT innovations forward to give our customers that competitive advantage. Consequently, we have tightly coiled the spirit of “synergy” into our DNA. With the “synergy” spirit in mind, it gives users, developers, and operators a forum to meet with the industry’s leading builders and designers. This conference brings together a cross section of the entire cloud community for the purpose of creating synergistic discussions that lead data center transformation.
This year, the theme of Q.synergy 2018 is Enabling Intelligent Clouds, continuing our goal of sharing our vision, technology roadmap, and partnership in the data center ecosystem with our valued customers and partners so that we can jointly grow and stay competitive in the industry as we pave the way to 5G and AI.
Q.synergy 2018 will include the following topics:
- Disaggregation and Composable Infrastructures
which will fundamentally change the way a data center is built, managed and expanded over time. Specifically, we will examine how the Intel Rack Scale Design (RSD) architecture is deployed and QCT’s support of the disaggregated approach in our latest Rackgo R product lineup (version 2.3), including pooled FPGA/PCIe/NIC and pooled NVMe SSD. - Artificial Intelligence
QCT will showcase its hardware platforms which can support Intel and NVIDIA ecosystems. We also will highlight the day-long event with an AI fireside chat to hear voices from various hardware vendors, software vendors, and leading companies who have real AI use cases. - Unified Data and Storage
Explore how next-generation storage systems and software-defined storage (SDS) has been extended to support ever-growing data requirements - not only in volume, but also in velocity and variety. SDS product types include scale-out file and object storage, and hyper-converged infrastructures (HCI). QCT will showcase its joint work with Microsoft on Project Olympus and NVMe over fabric and present many SDS use cases with our customers in our breakout sessions.
